The Crescendo Chorus Parkinson’s Choir at the Mosman Uniting Church
The Crescendo Chorus is an inclusive singing group geared towards people living with Parkinson’s and their partners and carers, but welcoming anyone who would like to join us! We combine voice exercises designed to help with breathing, vocal strength and articulation, with singing a large eclectic repertoire of songs. An important part of each session is the break, where members chat and share information over a cuppa and biscuits. The fee is low, and new members are welcome.
Though not primarily a performance-oriented choir, the Crescendo Chorus have sung on two occasions for residents at Montana Aged Care facility in Mosman. We would welcome further opportunities to perform in the community.
Choir Director is Chrissie Shaw, and we meet on Thursdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at the Mosman Uniting Church, cnr Beaumont and Cowles Roads, Mosman.
