Songlarks - Inner West Parkinson’s Choir

Songlarks Inner West Parkinson’s Choir is an inclusive singing group geared towards people living with Parkinson’s and their partners and carers, but welcoming anyone who would like to join us! We combine voice exercises designed to help with breathing, vocal strength and articulation, with singing a large eclectic repertoire of songs. An important part of each session is the break, where members chat and share information over a cuppa and biscuits. The fee is low, and new members are welcome.

Though not primarily a performance oriented choir, the Songlarks have been included in the Stanmore Music Festival for two years running, and the All Abilities Christmas Concert for Together2 in 2025. We would welcome further opportunities to perform in the community.

Choir Director is Chrissie Shaw, and we meet on Tuesdays from 10.00am to 12 noon, at the Annandale Neighbourhood Centre, 79 Johnston St. Annandale.
